Blue Cheese-Stuffed Pears

November 20, 2025 | 35 minutes | Serves: 8

Ingredients

  •  4 ounces Kingston Blue Cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped and toasted
  • 1 tablespoon honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs, for garnish

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Prepare the pears: Slice the pears in half and use a spoon or melon baller to remove the cores, creating a small well. Place them cut-side up on the baking sheet.
  • Mix the filling: In a small bowl, combine the crumbled Kingston Blue Cheese, toasted walnuts, and honey. Mix until evenly blended.
  • Stuff the pears: Spoon the filling into each pear half, pressing gently so it settles into the center.
  • Season and bake: Drizzle balsamic vinegar over the stuffed pears. Sprinkle with black pepper.
  • Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until pears are tender and the blue cheese is melted and lightly bubbling.
  • Remove from the oven and drizzle each pear with a little extra honey. Top with fresh thyme sprigs.
  • Serve warm for the best flavor and texture.

Serving Suggestions
